Keeping toddlers busy

What's your favourite travel toy for airplane journeys and road trips? I love the Mudpuppy mini magnetic play scenes (rated for 3+ years because of little pieces). I bought a few different sets and keep them hidden away until we have a long car journey or plane ride. They even have an airport themed play scene. The Usborne Great Searches book series also work really well for our children who love studying the busy pages.

I thought about compiling a list of all the little things you need to consider when flying with babies or toddlers. But then I found this page on Delicious Baby (www.deliciousbaby.com) written by Debbie Dubrow, a mom of two from Seattle, WA. She's thought of everything so you don't have to. I have to admit to a major love affair with blogs! I get a huge rush when I find a new one that I really enjoy reading (Julie Cole: The Baby Machine) or when I come across a blog that informs me (Baboo Baby) or offers a great service (clickthemouse.ca). It's just amazing how much fresh information, advice and funny opinions there are out there waiting to be discovered.
